Austin native Suzanna Choffel gave the songs on her new album, STEADY EYE SHAKY BOW, time to mature and build character, like fine wine, before she stepped into the studio to record. The result is 10 elegant tracks that flow from the jazz-oriented style of her 2006 debut, SHUDDERS AND RINGS, into a form she likes to call indie-soul-pop. Sour Bridges is Austin, TX’s premiere browngrass band. It's like bluegrass, just a lil dirtier. In spring of early 2009 they all got together and made music into magic. Comprised of artists from every different corner of the country, Sour Bridges’ sound is an infectious combination of Texas folk, Appalachian bluegrass, and old-time rock and roll.
Matthew Logan Vasquez is the frontman and guitarist for Delta Spirit. He released his debut EP, Austin, in November 2015. He plays every instrument on the album except two drum tracks and a single guitar track. He has performed with many well known American musicians, including Buck Owens & The Buckaroos, Gram Parsons, Carl Perkins, Merle Haggard, Freddie Hart, Marty Stuart, Phil Ochs, Michael Nesmith, Marty Robbins, Wynn Stewart, The Flying Burrito Brothers and The Byrds.
